APRIL 2 HAIKU

On the beach at Las Dunas

Foot-print proclamations
From centuries of shoreline strollers.
All washed away without regret.

  1. That's a very challenging question. To answer it you have to consider whether children understand the question or whether they can articulate their reasoning behind their answer. Do they have the cognitive discipline to make a rational decision on the matter? Or, are they more likely to say what they think their parents want them to say?

Children should be exposed to religion, but can't make a "decision" about religion until they have enough life experience to properly rationalize the question. People in general, however, should be educated on the topic before making a decision on relition. All too often people repeat the popular views on the topic without putting in the effort to investigate or understand it.
This is not my opinion, for I hold no opinions whatsoever :o) Simply an opportunity to stimulate discussion!
